Love Daisies?

Well I decided I wanted to use some of my new toys and join in the latest Inkspiration sketch challenge. I don't normally make square cards as it's hard to get them to fit into envelopes, but the Whisper White medium Square Envelopes (#107289) are perfect for them.

I bought the 2 3/8" scallop circle punch from the Summer Mini and layered it with the 1 3/4" scallop circle punch. Snipped in each petal, but not all the way to the centre, sponged the edges and then secured them together with one of the lovely Antique Brads - like the result?

The sentiment was stamped in Basic Black, cut out and layered on top of the same image stamped in Riding Hood Red with a Dimensional and embellished with a Basic Rhinestone.

The faux ribbon is actually just card stock that has been wet with a few spritzes of Stamp 'n Mist, then just scrunched up, when it dries it holds it's shape and becomes quite hard. I sponged the edges of it to add a bit more colour depth and then stuck it onto the card - too easy!

Stamps: Cute by the Inch (hostess level 2)
Ink: Basic Black & Riding Hood Red
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Basic Black & Riding Hood Red
Accessories: Basic Rhinestones, 1 3/4" scallop circle punch, 2 3/8" scallop circle punch, Stampin' sponges, SNAIL, paper snips, Antique Brad, Dimensionals.
